심연 深淵 Abyss

이 작품은 니체의 "심연을 응시할 때, 심연도 우리를 응시한다"는 통찰을 바탕으로 존재의 복잡성과 고독을 탐구합니다. 심연은 인간 내면의 깊이를 상징하며, 우리의 존재에 본질을 드러냅니다. 이곳은 생명의 원천이자 고요함 속에서 얽힌 복잡한 감정들이 존재하는 장소입니다.

우리의 생, 일체가 끊임없이 생멸 한순간 조차도 동일한 상태에 머물러 있지 않는다.  적막 속에서도 끊임없이 변화하는 생명력이 흐르고 있으며, 작품은 이러한 생명의 리듬을 포착합니다. 마치 시간의 흐름 속에서 우리의 발자취를 조각하듯 표현하며, 우리는 한순간도 같은 모습으로 머물지 않고, 삶의 여정 속에서 서로 연결된 존재로서 끊임없이 성장하고 변모하는 아름다움을 드러냅니다.

완결된 상태가 아닌 역동적이고 감정적인 변화 속에서 삶의 진리를 담고 있으며, 자기 성찰을 통해 진정한 자아를 발견하는 과정을 생생하게 표현합니다. 이 과정 속에서 생겨나는 아름다움과 고뇌를 시각적으로 조명하며, 각자의 삶이 어떻게 서로 연결되어 있는지를 탐구합니다. 이를 미학적으로 재구성하고 새로이 마주 서게 될 앞날에 고결한 힘을 주는 시선 속으로 포용합니다. 우리의 내면을 탐구하는 여정이 각자에게 어떻게 다가오는지, 그 속에서 느끼는 아름다움과 고뇌가 어떻게 삶을 풍요롭게 하는지 함께 나누며 어떤 새로운 통찰을 불러일으키는지 기대합니다.

This work explores the complexity and solitude of existence, based on Nietzsche’s insight: "When you gaze long into an abyss, the abyss also gazes into you." The abyss symbolizes the depth of the human inner world, revealing the essence of our being. It is both the source of life and a place where complex emotions intertwine in stillness. 

Our life, in its entirety, is in a constant state of flux, never remaining the same, not even for a moment. Even in silence, the life force flows and changes continuously, and this work captures the rhythm of that life. It expresses, as if carving our footprints in the flow of time, that we never remain the same for even an instant. Instead, we reveal the beauty of continuous growth and transformation, interconnected as beings on the journey of life.

This work captures the truth of life within dynamic and emotional change, vividly expressing the process of discovering the true self through self-reflection. It visually illuminates the beauty and anguish that arise in this journey, exploring how each individual life is interconnected. The experience is aesthetically reimagined, embracing a perspective that empowers us with noble strength as we face the future ahead. We hope to share how this journey of inner exploration touches each person, how the beauty and suffering encountered along the way enrich life, and what new insights it may evoke.
