백자 열주 호 白磁 列柱 壺

White Porcelain Columnar jar

It is a series that expresses the traces of the sculpture in a painterly manner by utilizing the characteristics of the pottery glaze. A jar in the shape of a columnar. It contains a symbol of a ritual containing the desire to satisfy human's natural needs. By visually embodying the sacred and spiritual space, the clear and blue color of the celadon is modernly reinterpreted and expressed.
Humans have engaged in ritual activities since ancient society to pray. The first construction for this was to build a column. This was to emphasize the visual effect of contacting the high sky and facing God.
From the ancient civilizations that put up big stones, the world's old dynasties showed their dignity through column architecture.
It implies symbolism of authority and sacredness in the form of such a column.
