This is a blue and white porcelain folding screen parodying Korean traditional genre painting with modernity. Rectangular tiles measuring 210×160(mm) are gathered to complete a single picture. Each tile is the image of various personalities and multicultural societies. It means that a total of 21 tiles are gathered in a mosaic form to form a community society. It wittily satirizes today's life in the overpasses and tall buildings. In addition to the appearance of a society that has been changed by viral infectious diseases, luxury, and immoral acts appear.
The four symbols that represent the defense of the east, west, north, south, and protect the order of the universe: The four symbols that represent the defense of the east, west, north, and south and protect the order of the universe; the imaginary dragon with a blue color; the red bird, the guardian deity of the south; the white tiger, the guardian deity of the west; and the mythical animal Hyeonmu, a mixture of turtles and snakes, create a sacred space with visualized four-element water, fire, soil, and air. It encompasses those who satirically unraveled modern society. The place can be sanctified by such a divine being who escorts in all directions.
